HQ Cabling Services was commissioned to enhance the network infrastructure at Darrick Wood School by installing new CAT6 network cabling to support Bode IP speakers across the site. The project involved supplying and installing a total of 168 CAT6 single network outlets, ensuring reliable connectivity for the school’s
Our team executed the project with precision, following a structured approach to minimise disruption while achieving maximum efficiency. The key steps included: • Installation of 120 CAT6 Network Outlets: We supplied and installed 120 CAT6 single network outlets to each of the new Bode IP speakers, ensuring that all cabling was routed back to the local network cabinet and terminated onto new CAT6 patch panels. Each outlet was thoroughly labelled and tested upon completion, ensuring readiness for speaker installation. • Additional 30 CAT6 Network Outlets: Due to project expansion, an additional 30 CAT6 single network outlets were installed, following the same rigorous process of routing, termination, labelling, and testing. • Further Expansion – 18 Additional CAT6 Outlets: A further extension required the installation of 18 additional CAT6 outlets, completed with the same attention to detail and efficiency. • Installation of New PVC Trunking: To neatly manage and protect the new cabling, we installed new PVC trunking in various areas across the site, ensuring a tidy and durable solution.
The successful completion of the CAT6 network cabling project at Darrick Wood School has provided a robust and high-performance infrastructure for the new Bode IP speakers. By implementing a structured and thorough approach, HQ Cabling Services ensured a seamless installation process, delivering a future-proof solution that supports the school’s communication and audio needs. HQ Cabling Services certified and provided full PDF test certification for all newly installed Cat6 cabling, giving the customer peace of mind and confidence in the quality of the installation.
