Aim
HQ Cabling Services was contacted by Ontech Solutions Ltd to carry out the installation of 17x Samsung 65” LED display screens with electrical, AV and network cabling connections in various office and warehouse spaces across 13x different sites located across the UK.
HQ install all LED displays in agreed positions with onsite customers, alongside various Lenovo mini PC’s and Intel PC sticks to display all relevant information prior to installation.
HQ Cabling Services also had the responsibility of supplying and installing power supplies, Audio Visual and network cabling to each display and PC location.
Solution
HQ Cabling Services completed a virtual site survey with the customer prior to installation to plan out each of the induvial LED display’s installation at each location and site.
Across all site locations where the new AV systems was to be installed, health and safety precautions were taken out before installation was started.
All 65” LED displays were installed on various stud and brick walls with wall mounted flat/tilt brackets allowing mini Lenovo PC’s to be installed adjacent to feed the Samsung display. 13amp twin socket power outlets were installed behind the displays to provide enough power supplies to connect both all screens, mini PC and PC sticks.
Cat5e network outlets were required to be installed again behind the large displays to connect the Lenovo mini PC’s to the local network allowing the customer to transfer all necessary data.
HQ also supplied and installed all AV HDMI cabling linking PC’s to the display allowing the PC content to display on the new 65” screens.
All cabling and service outlets were tested and labelled on completion before connecting with the displays leaving the customer fully operational allowing all relevant information to be displayed.
